The cleansing process of the accumulated documents continued for a long time, probably to this day. 

When a Canadian historian researched some documents in 1970, about 80 percent of the documents he was supposed to have access to disappeared. Serious mishaps that occurred here and there, had to be avoided at all costs. Unfortunately, for example, the fairy tale of Belgium’s virginity in the planning for war, had collapsed. It turned out that England, France, and Belgium had worked closely together to get this war off the ground. 

To the chagrin of the elites, it also became apparent that, especially in the United States, there were a large number of people who did not easily swallow the bait. Spurred on by a stream of documents released in Germany and Russia in the 1920s, respected historians began to conduct thorough research. Professor Sidney Fay published The Origins of the World War. Professor Harry Elmer Barnes delved much deeper in his book Genesis of the World War. As with the works of Carroll Quigley, the elites panicked and tried by all means to prevent such “revisionist” books from thriving. Even booksellers were bribed not to deliver such books. New official stories were rolled out, which were then praised and decorated in the mainstream media. It was a tragedy for the Rhodes/Milner group that the works of their puppets were repeatedly dismantled, Schmitt by Professor Michael Cochran (Missouri), Professor Fritz Fischer (Hamburg) Griff nach der Weltmacht, by Professor Marc Trachtenberg (California). Somehow, the preferred version of history did not want to stick in a sustainable way, and the irritating attacks of the revisionists did not end. 

The well-known authors, Aldous Huxley (1898-1963) – Brave New World. 1932, and George Orwell (1903-1950) – Nineteen-Eighty-Four. 1949, were able to observe the machinations up close. Huxley believed that the things we love are destroying us. Orwell said the things we hate are destroying us. In the end, it is probably a combination of the two scenarios that we need to be wary of. Orwell coined well-known expressions such as Big Brother, thought police, memory hole, newspeak, double think, unperson and thought crime. Fortunately, Edward Bernais had already published Propaganda in 1928, and put additional tools in the hands of the mob. The warning of Jaques Ellul in his book with the same name – Propaganda – published in 1962, unfortunately came too late. 

“Actions make the effect of propaganda irreversible. Those who are obedient to propaganda can never return. They must now believe in propaganda because of their actions in the past. They must obtain from it their justification and authority, without which their actions would seem absurd and wrong, which would be intolerable.” (Jaques Ellul. Propaganda.) 

Who wants to lose his or her face and be embarrassed by admitting past mistakes? A look at the functional elites in the Bundestag, in 2019, is enough to answer that question.

Thoughtful revisionists have asked the question: Can a prominent person or senior civil servant who has presented this or that fabricated event or atrocity as genuine, who has touted disgusting, war-mongering criminals as pleasant philanthropists, who can ever move away from his perception? Ellul would doubt it. Action, he says, advanced to a certain point, makes faith superfluous.  

There were a number of people very unhappy about the cessation of combat operations in 1919. One Colonel William H. Walker, former chair of MIT chemical engineering dept. expressed his disappointment this way: “We could have wiped out any German city we pleased, and probably several of them within a few hours…Somehow we had been cheated of our prey.”
The facility known as Chemical Warfare Service, CWS, in Aberdeen, Maryland was the biggest poison gas factory on earth and had produced 3 – 4 times as much as Britain, France and Germany combined. In 1919 they had 2500 tons of mustard gas on the piers, ready to be shipped to Europe, for delivery by air to their targets in Germany. (The Untold History of the United States. This embarrassing detail, one of a multitude of such pertinent details, was listed here to high-light the urgent need of the controlling elite to a. – Harvest as much incriminating evidence for safe keeping as possible and b. – Create a web of deceit. Edward Bernais and others had presented them with the necessary tools.
